Eyecatcher is a scene that often appears before One Piece anime changes to commercial when it is aired in Fuji TV. In the Wano arc, the eyecatcher shown is Luffy and Zoro. In a recent interview with the voice actors of the Straw Hat Pirates with Crunchyroll, the voice actor of Sanji, Hiroaki Hirata sounds his protest to Toei.

He protests to Toei because he always sees Luffy and Zoro as eyecatcher on every episode in Wano arc. Hiroaki Hirata also wants Sanji to be featured in eyecatcher to make it less boring. In fact, before the Wano arc, all the Straw Hat Pirates once received eyecatcher. Surely you know about this fact if you keep following One Piece episodes.

But for whatever reason, since entering the Wano arc, Toei doesn’t have a plan to change the recent eyecatcher. Maybe due to Sanji’s arc already finished in Whole Cake Island, while Luffy and Zoro will have a massive role in Wano? That would be possible.
