According to references in this series, the name Jonas virus was taken by Byeong-chan from a German philosopher, Hans Jonas who once discussed technology to support human life in survival.

So What is The Idea of Half Zombies Like?

Different from many zombie movies in general, All of Us Are Dead uses a new idea called Half Zombies. There are some humans who when bitten do not immediately become zombies because they still maintain their awareness and control as normal humans.

These half zombies are called Hambies according to Choi Nam-ra.

These half zombies will carry the strength and instincts of zombies, but their hunger for human flesh will be less than the actual zombies.
