Old-school anime gave color to our joyous moments as kids. All the dialogues were always dubbed into Bahasa to make it easier for us to comprehend the story, including the theme songs. We tend to have better memories toward the Bahasa-dubbed versions compared to the original ones, so much so, when we hear the original version, the tones were a bit off and we’d still prefer the dubbed versions. So that you can reminisce with anime songs in Bahasa, the writer has picked songs that leave memories in our hearts. Here they are!
10. Crayon Shin-chan
Certainly, there’s no Indonesian who doesn’t know about this mischievous anime boy. Crayon Shin-chan theme song is very unique and easy to memorize, managed to leave a long-lasting impression to kids back in the days.
9. Detective Conan
The anime might make you have an aspiration of becoming a real detective. But maybe the opening song of Detective Conan that really rocks might give you aspiration of becoming a rocker. Didn’t it?
8. P-Man
Back in the day, P-Man was not a long-lasting anime on TV channels in Indonesia. However, the unique and easy to listening theme song makes the anime quite memorable.
7. Yu-Gi-Oh!
The playing-card anime is easy to spot with the unique hairstyle of the main character, Yugi Mutou. Aside from that, we may have the Bahasa-dubbed opening song playing in our minds shortly after seeing the title. Following in the footsteps of the first Digimon Adventure that was hugely successful in Indonesia’s TV channels, entered Digimon Adventure 02, which of course was dubbed too, both the dialogues and the theme songs. A football anime that’s no less awesome than Captain Tsubasa. What distinguishes Dragon League from Captain Tsubasa is the players who are mostly humanoid animals. Plus, each of them has their own trademark moves.

Who remembers this anime right after seeing the video above? If you pay more attention to the lyrics of the ending song of this Cyborg Kuro-chan, it’s pretty sad too, don’t you think? Considering that Kuro’s no longer a normal cat anymore now that his entire body is a machine.

How many years have the Hunter X Hunter series run? The comic is still not finished as well. Yet still, the most memorable part of this anime is its early parts of the story.

Actually, there are two versions of Captain Tsubasa that have been aired in Indonesia, the first series, and Road to 2002. Now, Dragon Screamer was the legendary opening song of Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002.

Ghost at School might be the anime that contributes to your trauma of ghosts because this anime does have some scary ghosts. But, in order to be able to listen to the earworm opening song and the ending song with the "sexy sexy", you can’t help but watch the entire episode.
