Satoru Gojo is a very popular character in Jujutsu Kaisen, where he is undoubtedly considered the strongest sorcerer alive. His technique called Infinity, allows Gojo to manipulate the space between himself and the others, making him immune to physical attacks.

Coupled with his other strengths, also make Gojo an invincible character. But the story will not be fun if there is no balance that makes Gojo have to maintain his status as the strongest sorcerer.

Although not the same, in terms of strength, some of these sorcerers are close to Gojo's power in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo is a 1st grade sorcerer whose achievements far exceed his classmates. During Geto's attack on Kyoto, Todo defeated five grade 1 cursed spirits without using his best technique.

He has the physical strength that rivals Yuji's and shows extraordinary energy control against Hanami. His technique called Boogie Woogie allows him to switch positions with anything that has energy within his reach with a clap. This makes him a difficult opponent to predict.

Despite still being a student, of course, Todo has not yet reached his highest potential.

Yuta Okkotsu

We must admit that Yuta is not well known among the Jujutsu Kaisen fans, because his presence is new. He is one of the four special class sorcerers recognized by Jujutsu High School, and his original power came from after being haunted by Rika's cursed spirit nicknamed the Queen of Curses.

Even after losing Rika, Yuta maintains an unreasonable level of power and Gojo openly admits that one day Yuta can surpass him. He managed to defeat the rampaging Geto and was trusted by the higher-ups to execute Yuji Itadori.

So far Yuta is a scary character and has great potential to become the strongest sorcerer in the future.

Kinji Hakari

Kinji Hakari is another character who is featured in the manga but has not yet appeared in the anime apart from Yuta Okkotsu. Little is known about his background and abilities, but before being suspended from Tokyo Jujutsu High School, Hakari was recognized as a special class sorcerer.

Gojo briefly mentions him along with Yuta and Yuji as mages who can one day surpass him. His reputation alone was enough to place him on this list, and Yuta once commented that Kinji was tough when it came to figuring out the right strategy in battle.

Naobito Zenin

Naobito Zenin is the head of the prestigious Zenin Family and a special 1st grade sorcerer. Despite his lackluster appearance, Naobito is more than capable of overcoming the terrifying curse with his energy. In addition, his physical endurance also deserves a thumbs up.

He is known for his incredible speed, second only to Gojo, and he equips himself with extraordinary intelligence that allows him to stay one step ahead of his opponents. He far outperformed Maki and Nanami during their battle.

Kokichi Muta

Kokichi Muta is a student at Kyoto Jujutsu High School who uses Ultimate Mechamaru as his representative when fighting and socializing. This was done because Muta was born with a weak body and experienced pain that made his physique unlike other normal people.

His mastery of his puppets, including Mechamaru, allowed him to reach the rank of a semi-class 1 jujutsu sorcerer. Muta possesses a large amount of energy sufficient to cover the country of Japan allowing him to use his puppet manipulation techniques across great distances.
