Wired Productions and Nosebleed Interactive have just announced that they have postponed the release of Arcade Paradise from 2021 to 2022. In addition, today a gameplay trailer titled Rags to Riches was released.
Arcade Paradise presents a genre that is quite unique, as players play the protagonist Ashley who gets the chance to turn your laundry shop into an arcade in the 90s. Why the 90's? The reason is that according to the developer, it's the best gaming era of all time.
Over 35 arcade games (some with two players) will be presented, and they are "inspired by three decades of gaming, from early vector games all the way to the 32-bit era." They also promise a soundtrack from the 90s era. Doug Cocle (best known as the voice of Geralt of Rivia) plays Ashley's father.
Arcade Paradise will be released on PC, PS4/5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Here's the latest trailer for Arcade Paradise that you can watch.
