Disappointing news has come for fans of the zombie-themed anime entitled Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead. The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata's manga announced that the release of the anime's fifth episode will be delayed to August 13th.

Instead, there will be a special program entitled "Zom 100 Tokuban Zombie kara Nigekiru tame ni Junbi shitai 100 no Koto" which will air in Japan on Sunday, August 6th at 17.00 WIB.

Episode 4 of Zom 100 Also Had Its Broadcast Postponed

Previously, the fourth episode of the Zom 100 anime which was supposed to air on July 30th also experienced a delay and can only be watched through various streaming services such as Crunchyroll, Hulu and Netflix on July 31st. Even several streaming services in Japan also experienced the same delay, due to production constraints.

Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead premiered in Japan on July 9th and has become something many fans have been waiting for. In this anime adaptation, Viz Media has managed to obtain a license to broadcast this anime in North America, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. The collaboration between Viz Media and Shogakukan and Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Japan has created a work that captivates the audience.

In the United States, Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead premieres via Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix on July 9th at 5:00 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time/EDT).

The Much-Awaited Anime Filled by Several Well-Known Voice Actors

This anime stars several well-known voice actors, including Shūichirō Umeda who plays the main character, Akira Tendo. The main female character, Shizuka Mikazuki, is played by Tomori Kusunoki, a worker at a foreign financial company who always plays it safe when it comes to risk and reward and has an internal list of "100 things to do to avoid becoming a zombie." Meanwhile, Kenichiro Ryuzaki is played by Makoto Furukawa and Beatrix Amerhauser is played by Minami Takahashi.

Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead also gets an English dub with a talented voice cast, such as Zeno Robinson as Akira Tendo, Abby Trott as Shizuka Mikazuki, Xander Mobus as Kenichiro Ryuzaki, and Laura Post as Beatrix Amerhauser .

In the production of this anime, Kazuki Kawagoe serves as director at BUG FILMS, with Hanako Ueda as assistant director. The series scenario is handled by Hiroshi Seko, while the character designs are by Kii Tanaka, and the zombie designs by Junpei Fukuchi.

The music in the anime is composed by Makoto Miyazaki, while Maiko Goda is in charge of "music selection" and the dugout takes care of the sound production. Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd is producing the anime.

The Live Action Version Will Also be Aired on Netflix Globally on August 13th

Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead originated as a manga that debuted in Shogakukan's Sunday GX magazine in October 2018. The presence of this manga has received many appreciations, even winning a nomination for the Eisner award.

The success of the Zom 100 manga has also inspired the making of a live action movie that will hit Netflix globally on August 13th. In addition, Haro Aso's other manga Alice in Borderland has been adapted into a live action series which premiered on Netflix in December 2021, and the second season of the series arrives worldwide in December 2022.
