The official Twitter account for the virtual reality game Transformers: Beyond Reality announced on Wednesday, April 5, 2022 that the game's release has been delayed. Transformers: Beyond Reality was originally slated to launch for PlayStation VR and PC via Steam on March 31, 2022.

Transformers: Beyond Reality game developer Meta4 Interactive stated that they will announce a new release date at a later time.

Meta4 Interactive stated of the delay, "You know how Starscream could always find a way to derail Megatron’s best-laid plans? While it wasn’t him, the release of Transformers: Beyond Reality has been derailed by reasons beyond our control."

Fyi, previously publisher Outright Games and developer Coatsink had launched Transformers: Battlegrounds for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in October 2020. Kabam has also released a free fighting game titled Transformers: Forged to Fight on Android and iOS in April 2017.
