"Worst Generation" is a term in One Piece world, which directly points 12 pirates. These pirates managed to receive a bounty above 100.000.000 Berry and arrived at Shabaody Archipelago before Whitebeard War in Marineford happened.

They are said as “the worst generation” because almost major conflicts before and after one of the biggest pirate and marine wars were because of them. Like Blackbeard who sent Ace into the Marines and causing a big war as well Luffy who attacking a Celestial Dragon and storming Impel Down.

1. Marshall D. Teach

You already know that Blackbeard is the strongest of the Worst Generation so far. Not only having a gravitation and darkness power from Yami Yami no Mi but he also successfully took the Gura Gura no Mi with the power of earthquake after defeating Whitebeard. So it’s not surprising if Blackbeard once was chosen as one of Shichibukan and even he’s a Yonko.

2. Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy, the protagonist of the series and the captain of Straw Hat Pirates, surely is the second strongest pirate due to his bravery and supported with rubber body from Gomu Gomu no Mi. Now, Luffy has mastered the Haki powers and he’s getting stronger.

3. Trafalgar D. Water Law

The captain of Heart Pirates also nicknamed “The Surgeon of Death” due to his ability to slice and connect his enemy’s bodyparts which comes from Ope Ope no Mi. Even Law can easily take enemies’ hearts but making them alive using his power. He’s once a member of Shichibukai.

4. Eustass Kidd 

This sadistic and ill-tempered pirate is feared because he does not hesitate to involve everyone (including villagers) around him to become the casualties of the battle he caused. The captain of Kidd Pirates also said to took down 2 ships of Big Mom’s partner. His power came from his left hand, which also supported with magnetic energy and throwing steel and iron things. It looks like is power came from a certain devil fruit.

5. X Drake 

An ex-marine who switch profession as a pirate has an eerie Zoan devil fruit power: transforming himself into a T-Rex. Even though he’s bloodthirsty when transformed and entering the battlefield, usually he has a calm demeanor and avoiding any kind of confrontations.

Bounty: 222.000.000 Berry 

6. Urouge

He’s an ex-people of Sky Island (judging from his wing), Urouge now wanders the wide ocean as the captain of Fallen Monk Pirates. He ate a devil fruit at some point in his life that allows him to absorb enemies’ attacks to enlarge his body and strengthen his attacks. Even though his bounty is not that high, but his power is said to able to defeat one of 4 Sweet Commander of Big Mom, Snack.

7. Scratchmen Apoo

The leader of music-themed pirates named On Air Pirates, Apoo can combine martial arts with the music he produced from his body due to mysterious devil fruit and creating a move set called “Fighting Music”. With this, he can easily damage or hypnotize enemies with the sound he produced. It’s not surprising he nicknamed as “Roar of the Sea”.

Bounty: 350.000.000 Berry 

8. Basil Hawkins

Silent, very calm, and always bet his life on tarot cards, Hawkins is a character who believed in mystical things. This is supported by the devil fruit he ate, which produces a voodoo doll to repel attacks targeted on him. He always carries a sword to help him fight and looks like he is a skilled swordsman.

Bounty: 320.000.000 Berry

9. Roronoa Zoro

Luffy’s right-hand man who once knew as “Pirate Killer”. It’s not surprising if his name has spread everywhere. Added with brave (and reckless) actions of his captain, Zoro’s bounty also increased for sure. His skill of using three swords and Busoshoku Haki is something to watch out for.

10. Killer

Like Zoro, he’s a right-hand man of one of a pirate captain, Eustass Kidd. Even though he is a calm and calculating person, he can stop Kidd and Apoo from fighting when the two want to have an alliance. Meanwhile, he’s a beast in a fight using two daggers of his own. 

Bounty: 200.000.000 Berry 

11. Capone Bege

The captain of Firetank Pirates has a unique devil fruit among all: Shiro Shiro no Mi, which allows him to hold a thousand soldiers and weaponry inside his body which can be used anytime he wants akin to a walking castle. This “full of secrets” skill also supported by his intelligence. Now he joins Big Mom’s pirate crew but it looks like he’s plotting for a coup d’etat.

His rank is low because his power needs support from other pirates he owns.

Bounty: 300.000.000 Berry

12. Jewelry Bonnie

The only woman on this list. Bonnie has a devil fruit power to change her age and people around her. She manages to gain high bounty because she’s running from the World Government.

Bounty: 140.000.000 Berry
