Because of the hype, some gamers tried to enter League of Legends Wild Rift illegally. Riot discovers about the issue and bans several gamers.
About the banning, Riot Games released an official statement via Twitter, “We’ll be disabling all accounts that didn’t gain access directly through a Google Play Store Invite. This shouldn’t affect the eligibility fo future test waves.”
Before releasing the official statement, Riot Games also stated that the server is not ready to hold a massive amount of players. But they promised to invite more players when give an update once it’s available for other regions.
