The official collaboration between Persona 5 Royal and Hatsune Miku was announced during the game's special event, Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! (also known as Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE!). The event ran from August 4th to 13th, 2025, and featured exclusive content such as Joker and Kasumi costumes for in-game characters, including Hatsune Miku.

One of the main highlights of this collaboration was a re-arranged rendition of the iconic song "Life Will Change" from Persona 5, performed by Miku alongside other Vocaloid characters. In addition to the costumes and song, the event also included special login items such as the "Leblanc Curry Set," the "Morgana Dress-up Costume," and Persona 5-themed stickers and avatars.

All of these elements imbued the world of Phantom Thieves with the bright and musical atmosphere of Project SEKAI, creating an engaging experience for fans of both franchises. The collaboration was enthusiastically received by the community for bringing together two distinct worlds in one mobile event.
