AKG Entertainment is ready to hold the biggest Pokémon Festival in Indonesia. The event, titled Pokémon Festival Jakarta, will take place from 8 December 2022 to 8 January 2023, at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta. This festival will be the biggest Pokémon event held in Indonesia.

“This year, we are ready to present the Pokémon Festival in Jakarta. We are optimistic that Pokémon Festival Jakarta will not only become a year-end destination for Indonesians but also Pokémon fans in Southeast Asia," said Christina Lim, General Manager of AKG Entertainment, organizer of Pokémon Festival Jakarta.

“The holding of the Pokémon Festival Jakarta this year cannot be separated from the rapid development of Pokémon in Indonesia. It's not only Pokémon merchandise that is in great demand, currently, but the Pokémon Game Collection Card community also continues to grow in various regions in Indonesia," added Christina.

With a theme #MainBarengPokémon, Pokémon Festival Jakarta is expected to gather Pokémon fans through various activities and competitions. Some of them are Pokémon Run running competitions, Pokémon Dance competitions for children aged 4-6 years, Pikachu Parade, and Meet & Greet with Pokémon mascots every weekend.

A series of Pokémon Game Collectible Card tournaments and events have also been prepared for Pokémon Game Collectible Card players, complete with special collectible promo cards. Regional League Pokémon Game Collection Cards will also be held on December 15 at Menara Indomaret which can be accessed via PIK Avenue. There were also Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE booths for festival goers to play Pokémon games with the Pokémon loving community.

“Pokémon Festival Jakarta can be held thanks to the support from The Pokémon Company and Agung Sedayu Group. As a sponsor, The Pokémon Company helps us plan and design the festival. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Agung Sedayu Group has dedicated Pantai Indah Kapuk to become the arena for the Jakarta Pokémon Festival," said Christina. "Throughout December to early January, we invite people in Indonesia and Southeast Asia to come and play with Pokémon at PIK Avenue and PIK Golf Island."

There is no entry fee to come to the Pokémon Festival Jakarta, aka FREE. Visitors can immediately come and walk around the festival area. Pokémon Anime is sharing the good news with the arrival of the new animated series “Pokémon Journeys” which will be released on YouTube!

To commemorate the holding of the Pokémon Festival Jakarta, The Pokémon Company will release the animated series “Pokémon Journeys” on the official YouTube channel for Pokémon Indonesia. This is the first time that “Pokémon Journeys” aired on YouTube in Bahasa Indonesia.

This series will be released with the first 5 episodes on November 25, 2022, and followed by one new episode every Friday at 7 WIB.
