A tweet from Ed Sheeran's official Twitter account recently shocked his fans. There, he uploaded the Pokemon GO logo and Ed Sheeran's name with "Coming soon". Some fans were surprised and happy, while some were confused to guess what kind of collaboration the two will have.

There is no information regarding this collaboration yet, only the announcement from Ed Sheeran. This isn't the first time Ed Sheeran collaborated. Last year, Ed collaborated with illustrator and manga author, Rui Ikeda to release an anime adaptation of Ed's single "Bad Habits".

Not only that, but Ed Sheeran has also appeared as a cameo in Game of Thrones season 7. Pokemon GO was once the most popular game in the world in mid-2016 because it was the first game to use AR. Here are the various events presented in this collaboration!

You can watch a special performance by Ed Sheeran through the Pokemon GO app from November 22 to November 30, 2021. The songs that he will perform include:

Ed always chooses Water-type pokemon in every Pokemon game. Therefore, this celebration event will bring up more Water-type Pokemon.
