Starting September 14, 2021, the Shiny forms of the Legendary Pokemon: Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf have arrived in Pokemon GO. The release of the Lake Trio shiny form marks the Psychic-theme event that’s also part of the release of the Mythical Pokemon Hoopa.

The Lake Trio is available in Raid Battles until October 1. You can beat them in Raid Battles, and if you’re lucky, you can have the opportunity to catch their Shiny forms to add to your Pokedex.

Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf are all of Psychic-type. Therefore, try to use Ghost, Dark, or Bug-types to counter it and get the Super Effective boost.

Some of the best options to counter them are Darkrai, Mega Houndoom, Yveltal, Hydreigon (Dark); Chandelure, Giratina (Origin Forme), Gengar (Ghost); Genesect, Scizor (Bug).

Yet unfortunately, Trainers in Indonesia (Asia & Australia) are only able to encounter Uxie in Raid Battles as the Lake Trio is a Regional Pokemon. So, how can we fight Mesprit and Azelf?

The trick is to have friends outside of your region. If you have friends in Pokemon GO from different regions, you can get invited for Raid Battles using the Remote Raid Pass.

Try to make Pokemon GO friends from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to get invited for Mesprit Raids. And try to befriend Trainers in the Americas to be able to do some Azelf Raids. And, don’t forget to invite them for Uxie Raids, as they can also benefit from this trick.

As a Raid Boss, Uxie has a CP of 35,356, 41,887 CP for Mesprit, and 44,972 CP for Azelf. You can defeat them in a team of 3 Trainers with powerful lineups of Pokemon, and a team of 5 Trainers (or more) with average Pokemon. Good luck on your hunt for Shiny Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, Trainers!
