After been long-awaited by the Trainers, the puzzle regarding the next Exclusive Raid Boss replacing the Giant Legendary Regigigas has been completed.

The Mythical Paleozoic Pokemon Genesect will feature in Exclusive Raid Battles starting in April 2020. To get the Exclusive Raid Battle pass, you need to win any raid tier at Ex Raid Gyms.

Genesect has a double weakness towards fire-type attacks, therefore, prepare your Fire Pokemon from now on. Chandelure, Darmanitan, Blaziken, Moltres, Heatran, and Charizard are the top Pokemon to go up against Genesect. Don’t forget to utilize fire-type attacks, such as Overheat, Blast Burn, or Flamethrower to defeat Genesect.

Aside from the free Exclusive Raid Battles, there’s a paid-method this March to get Genesect early.

Starting today, until March 26, 2020, at 8 P.M, you can purchase a special ticket for IDR119,000 (equivalent to US$ 7.99) in the Shop to get the Special Research Task: A Drive to Investigate.

After purchasing it, all you have to do is to open the Pokemon GO app to activate the said Special Research Task from March 20-26. You will also get a special medal from purchasing the ticket. No need to worry though, you can complete the task without a time limitation!

The bonuses that can be obtained from the ticket are a Genesect-themed avatar accessory, 5 Premium Battle Passes, 3 Super Incubators, 3 Fast & Charge TMs, 3 incenses, 3 starpieces, 1 Poffin, 15 rare candies, & 1 Glacial Lure. With this task, there will also be a higher encounter of certain Pokemon, such as Pinsir, Scizor, Skarmory, Karrablast, Shelmet, Durant, and many more.

For trainers who love PvP Battles, they may be going for a Genesect from this Task to get a Genesect with a CP below 1500 for the Great League. The reason being, the Genesect from this task will be at level 15, meanwhile, in the Exclusive Raid Battles, Genesect will be at level 20 or 25, which means they’ll have a CP above 1500 so that they cannot be used in Great League.
