The announcement of the epilogue for the DLC "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games graced the latest trailer on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on Wednesday, December 20th 2023. It is reported that players will be able to play this epilogue starting January 11th 2024. The video shows the game's protagonist taking his rivals along on an exciting adventure.

In order to play this epilogue, players must complete the main DLC story along with a special event in the base game after successfully completing it. The second part of the DLC was released on December 14th 2023, following the first part, "The Teal Mask," which launched on September 13th 2024.

The first part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, "The Teal Mask," features a new legendary Pokémon called Ogrepon. The story centers on a school trip to Kitakami, introducing the new evolution of Applin, Dipplin, and the Loyal 3 Pokémon consisting of Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.

This first part also adds new elements such as mochi to increase the base points of a Pokémon's stats and a Roto-Stick to take photos from a wider angle.

Meanwhile, in the second Part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, "The Indigo Disk," players become exchange students at Blueberry Academy and face off against a new legendary Pokémon, Terapagos. This DLC introduces the evolution of Duraludon named Archaludon.

Additionally, this second DLC features four different biomes within the underwater academy, along with a fighting organization called BB League and League Club extracurricular activities. Koraidon and Miraidon will also gain new flight powers.

For your information, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will launch on Nintendo Switch globally in November 2022. The announcement of this epilogue further adds to the attraction for players who want to explore the world of Pokémon with a more immersive experience.
