Potion Permit invites you to explore the town of Moonbury, whose residents are skeptical of modern technology. When the mayor's daughter falls ill, the only hope lies in an alchemist from outside the city, and that's the role you will play in this simulation game. The challenge is to mix medicine and gain the trust of the townspeople.

Gameplay

This game combines elements of adventure, combat and patient care. You can create an avatar character and explore Moonbury to find materials, complete quests, and fight monsters. 

Even though it is called a simulation game, Potion Permit does not allow you to grow crops like farming simulations in general. Because all raw materials must be obtained from the wild or the monsters you defeat.

You will be equipped with three tools that function as weapons: an axe, sickle and hammer. These tools were not only used for fighting, but also had other functions, such as chopping trees and breaking rocks. The combat mechanics are quite simple, where you only need to swing your weapon and roll to dodge.

As an alchemist, you are responsible for healing the sick citizens of Moonbury. The healing process involves mini-games for diagnosing illnesses and dispensing medicine. The mini-game when dispensing medicine is similar to the tetris game. Each patient has a time limit to be cured. Disease diagnosis is also carried out using mechanics similar to rhythmic games.

Potion Permit offers its own unique features, especially in the diagnosis and healing mechanic. As a game created by the nation's children, Potion Permit already provides Indonesian language features. So, don't be surprised if NPC characters suddenly say slang words like "What are you doing here?" or "I'll throw you off the boat too!"

The creative process behind making Potion Permit is the true story of a doctor who struggles to cure patients. The inspiration for the hero character in this game is the lover of Andika Pradana, one of the developers of Potion Permit. Andika worked with his sibling, Anggia Lestari, in developing the Potion Permit game from scratch for ten years. These siblings succeeded in creating a game that contained a moral message that left an impression on the hearts of gamers.
