Wuthering Waves Version 2.5 Preview – Phrolova, Banner Reruns, Echo Changes & Septimont Arc

New 5★ Character: Phrolova

Phrolova is introduced as a new 5-star Havoc-type Resonator in Version 2.5. Once an antagonist, she now becomes an ally during the Septimont arc. Her skill set revolves around Echo manipulation, making her a strong choice for DPS-focused teams.

Version 2.5 will feature two phases of banners:

  • Resonator team slots increased from 5 to 10 total presets

• UI optimization for Deep Dreaming mode

Septimont Arc Continues

Version 2.5 picks up the story directly from the events in Septimont, a brand-new region filled with political intrigue and gladiator culture. This previously unrevealed city becomes a central stage for new conflicts inside and outside the arena.

Phrolova, now reintroduced as a 5★ Resonator, shifts from her antagonist role into a morally ambiguous ally. The new quests in Septimont highlight her internal struggle, especially during exploration missions, revealing her complex backstory and redemption arc.
