Some time ago, Netflix announced the One Piece live-action series which will air shortly. The cast of the live-action series has also been revealed, including Inaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Taz Skylar (Sanji), Emily Rudd (Nami), and Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp). Emily is a 29-year-old young actress who was born on February 24, 1993, in the United States. Emily's mother, Michelle Rudd is a businesswoman as well as an actress who started her acting talent as a teenager in the theater extracurricular at her school, St. Paul High School. Although still considered a young actor, Emily has already starred in several feature films.

Several films starring Emily Rudd include Dynasty (2017), Sea Change (2017), Olive Forever (2018), and The Romanoff (2018). Emily Rudd's popularity gained worldwide recognition after she starred in the trilogy film Fear Street (2021) which played Cindy.

Fear Street is a movie that tells the story of a group of teenagers who have to survive the mass murders committed on the streets. Emily turned out to be quite popular in this film even though she only appeared in the third series.

In the One Piece live-action series, Emily Rudd plays Nami, the navigator of the Straw Hats who can predict the weather. Nami is also a mercenary because of the influence of Arlong who controls her hometown, Kokoyashi village. Even though Arlong has been defeated, Nami's love for Belly never goes away.

Nami is also the only Straw Hat crew who dares to hit Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji when they do stupid things. Nami's role in the Straw Hats is very important because, without her, Luffy would not be able to achieve his dream of becoming the Pirate King. Because before that, she must bring the crew to Laugh Tale and find One Piece.

Emily's beautiful face with short hair makes her look suitable as Nami. At the beginning of this live-action series, a new story will likely run in the East Blue plot where Luffy will meet several pirates such as Buggy, Kuro, Alvida, Arlong, and Don Krieg.
