PUBG Mobile recently shares the latest update called 0.15.5 on Saturday (9/11). In this update, PUBG brings items, missions, and new characters. Also, there is a new map called “The Ruins" for Team Deathmatch mode.
Even though it's yet to officially open, the inclusion of "The Ruins" map has been announced on the PUBG Mobile official Twitter account. From the image shared on the said Twitter, the map of "The Ruins" is inspired by Aztec ruins that will appear in Sanhok map on Battle Royale.
From the gameplay video shared by PUBG Mobile, "The Ruins" map will be bigger than the "Warehouse" map, which previously serves as the only map available in Team Deathmatch mode. This map promises to have many hiding spots because it has many stairs, pillars, and useful platforms.
"The Ruins" map will facilitate those who like to play as a sniper because it has so many hiding spots with a wide perspective you can utilize. It's different than "Warehouse," this map has various respawn points.
This map will become one of the mainstay features in PUBG Mobile on Season 10 update as well as answering the challenge from CoD Mobile that is known for the exciting Team Deathmatch mode. It looks like with the addition of this new map, PUBG Mobile is struggling to bring back fans who are starting to get bored with Battle Royale mode and proving that this game also has its own exciting Team Deathmatch mode.
Even though it's still a beta version, probably the stable version of "The Ruins" in Team Deathmatch mode will be available at the end of this month. What do you think, guys? Which one do you prefer? Team Deathmatch on PUBG Mobile or in CoD Mobile?
