This engine has become famous after Hideo Kojima uses DECIMA Engine as the foundation for his latest project called Death Stranding. DECIMA Engine itself is an engine owned by Guerilla Games and becomes Kojima’s choice to make his latest game after cutting ties with FOX Engine, which currently owned entirely by Konami. Now DuniaGames will invite you to know a few cool games that developed using DECIMA Engine. 

1. Killzone Shadow Fall

One of the exclusive games developed by Guerilla Games is Killzone Shadow Fall. This series was developed using DECIMA Engine and managed to show PlayStation 4’s performance as the latest console. This game tells about the aftermath after a massive fight between Vekta and Helghan that ended with the Helghan planet destruction. The two factions later decide to hold a ceasefire. Until in the end, all Helghast who doesn’t have a home, currently granted asylum to Vekta planet and inhabit half of the planet as their new home.

2. Until Dawn

Supermassive Games as the developer once tried to make a game using DECIMA Engine with the horror genre, which only exclusively released for PlayStation 4 titled Until Dawn. The story revolves around eight teenagers who trapped in a horror situation where death is better than being tortured.

3. RIGS: Mechanized Combat League

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League is one of the exclusive games for PlayStation VR device made by Guerilla Cambridge and developed using DECIMA Engine. In this game, you can experience the thrill of first-person shooter gameplay with a robot as well as a sports element. Unfortunately, many PlayStation VR users reviewed this game as mediocre.

4. Horizon Zero Dawn

PlayStation 4 users are fortunate to able to play Horizon: Zero Dawn released exclusively a few months ago. This game tells about a girl named Aloy who lives in a post-apocalyptic society, which, to be precise, 1.000 years in the future. Aside from experiencing RPG gameplay and wrapped with soothing graphics, you can also feel the deep of Aloy’s story to decide her way of life.

5. Death Stranding

The success of Horizon: Zero Dawn turns out to make the ex-staff of Konami as well as the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, Hideo Kojima took an interest in this engine. After his departure with Konami, Kojima works with Sony and create his studio called Kojima Productions. This new developer will release their first game called Death Stranding. The developing of this game is using DECIMA Engine by Guerilla Games. Death Stranding itself comes with realistic graphics. Until now, there’s no information regarding when the game will be released.
