Nuverse announced that Ragnarok X: Next Generation, the 3D MMORPG mobile game from the beloved RO franchise, is launching the much-anticipated Guild versus Guild (GvG) update this coming weekend. Guilds that players have created will be able to test their mettle and unity against each other in epic large-scale PvP battles. Win in GvG to show that your Guild deserves Odin's rewards!

GvG will take place every Saturday from 21:00-21:45 local time, on all servers with World Level above 55, and will be open to all players with Base Level over 35 who are in a Guild. There are 5 castles for the Guild to conquer and defend, located in Geffen, Alberta, Morroc, Izlude Island, and Payon.

Continuing the Glorious Days: Introducing the New GvG System

As veteran fans of the classic MMORPG Ragnarok Online can attest, the Guild's sanctified battlefield is the toughest test for any adventurer in Midgard. In Ragnarok X: Next Generation, GvG System is very similar to the original, several Guilds will fight to occupy the castles of various major cities in Midgard by destroying the Emperium located within. The guild that managed to destroy the Emperium first, will become the protector of the castle and must ward off attacks from other Guilds who want to claim the castle as their own.

This event will be divided into 3 stages: the first is the Siege War stage, where players must fight against monsters to control a neutral base. Once the base is claimed, the game moves to the Clash of Champions stage, where the defenders must defend it from other Guilds for 15 minutes to become the castle protector in Defensive War mode for the following weeks.

If you manage to defend your base for 45 minutes in this mode, your Guild will gain ownership of the entire town, with lots of exclusive rewards waiting for the 5 Guilds who have successfully claimed every castle in the big city of Midgard.

For the rewards, simply participating in GvG will give you the opportunity to earn GvG Participation Chests based on actions such as defeating enemy Guild members, or reviving lost guild mates on the battlefield. The winning guild will receive an exclusive City Owner Chest containing Guild Contributions and Shadow Equipment materials.

In addition to the City Owner Chest, the winning Guild will also have access to the Abyssal Arcade, a special PvP battleground where the five winning Guilds must defeat a special MVP boss that drops some of the game's rarest and most powerful equipment, as well as a collection point that provides high-level Shadow Equipment materials. Glory and riches await the brave GvG winners!
