PUBG Mobile Pro League Indonesia 2020 Season 1 (PMPL ID Season 1) now enters its third week. Even with a slight change in the format from offline to online, the competition is still going fiercely. 24 teams are thirsty with more wins, proven by how the competition in the top sixteen is getting tougher in order to advance to the Playoff and represent Indonesia at an international tournament.

BOOM Esports Dominates Group A vs. B 

As if the squad is just heating up, BOOM Esports soars again this week. During the third week, the Hungry Beast secures three Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD), and two of them come from the team’s match on day 5, between group A vs. B.

This wins causes BOOM Esports’ WWCD total to be above the average.

It’s recorded that BOOM Esports have secured eight WWCD out of 5 group A vs. B meetings. But that doesn’t mean that the team is performing excellently only in that match. In day three match, group B vs. C, BOOM Esports gets another WWCD, although it’s only one time.

They faced Bigetron RA in that match, but Voker and friends manage to steal a WWCD from the king. The achievement helps BOOM Esports establish themselves in second place with 626 points.

Four Countries Battle, Indonesia Secures Top Four 

In PMPL ID Season 1 day five matches (March 21, 2020), the tournament introduces a match titled “Four Country Battle.” Four countries, 16 teams, and one winner. Bigetron RA, RRQ Ryu, Alter Ego, and MORPH Team compete against 12 teams from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.

After the tough matches, Indonesia, unfortunately, fails to win at the Four Countries Battle. But we can still keep our head held high since Bigetron Esports secures the top four.

Nerpheko, the terminator, alongside RRQ.Ryu secures the eighth place, Doctor Badru and Alter Ego secure the eleventh place, while MORPH Team under the leadership of Jeixy finishes at the fourteenth place.

Mid-Tier Teams Revival

While Bigetron RA is separating themselves with a total point of 809, the competition between teams in the middle of the standings becomes fiercer to make it to the top 16. In week three of PMPL ID 2020 Season 1, may mid-tier teams are heating up. Take an example on day two, in the match between group A vs. B.

When AURA and Victim Esports are trading wins, Louvre with Okky Ozora and friends sneaks in and takes a WWCD in round three. We also see BONAFIDE nad Red Rocket Cosmic heating up and gains their rhythm this week.

BONAFIDE farms three WWCD this week and pushes their rank to 15 with a total point of 434 points. Red Rocket Cosmic, a squad containing ex-Bigetron player, Kingzzz, takes the eleventh place with 462 points, even though the squad only gets one WWCD this week.
