PUBG Mobile Pro League Indonesia Season 2 (PMPL ID Season 2) has entered its Week 3 of the regular season with a major shift from the global leaderboard which has changed the top-3. The competition is certainly getting more intense as there are 3 weeks left to determine which teams will qualify for the grand final.
For those who missed out on the excitement, here’s a recap of the matches.
ION Esports Leads the Standings Without WWCD
While previously the daily top teams get at least 1 WWCD, this time ION Esports managed to secure the top spot without even getting a single WWCD. This occurred on Day 1 of Week 2, which brought Group A and Group B against each other. With a series of consistent performances and 46 total Kills, they managed to take the top place with 79 points.
RRQ Ryu followed behind in second place after 2 consecutive WWCDs in Round 5 and 6. In total, Nerpehko and friends racked up 69 points. As for the third place, Geek Fam sits behind RRQ Ryu with 68 points. Played poorly in the early rounds, Bigetron RA had to settle at 9th with 46 points.
AURA Esports’ Fiery Performance
With Group B and Group C came up against each other on Day 2 of the PMPL ID Season 2, AURA Esports displayed a convincing performance with 2 WWCDs on the same map, Miramar, which led them to the top of the standings. Jayden and teammates racked up 81 points on Day 2.
In the second place, there’s BOOM Esports, who, interestingly enough, didn’t get a single WWCD on Day 2. However, they’re just 3 points behind AURA with 78 points. MORPH Esports slowly but surely rising with a total of 68 points in third.
The Ferocity of Mighty MORPH
MORPH Esports, who played quite well on Day 2, were able to bring their best performance on Day 3 between Group A and C. Not just by securing 1 WWCD, Jeixy and teammates were so aggressive and bagged 60 Kills, 10 Kills on average out of 6 rounds. They convincingly secured the top spot on Day 3 with a total of 103 points.
Having successfully secured the 4th on the global leaderboard in the PMPL ID Season 2 Week 2, Siren Esports showed another impressive performance after securing the second place with 80 points and 1 WWCD. Aerowolf LIMAX managed to get in third place with 72 points and 1 WWCD. Interestingly, the top 3 teams in Week 2 performed poorly on Day 3.
The Decline of Bigetron RA’s Performance
Bigetron RA, the leaders of the standings, had plummeted to 14th with just 23 points. Geek Fam, who played quite well on Day 1 of Week 3, was actually worse with 14 points in 15th. ION Esports was a bit better in the 8th place with 49 points.
With the PMPL ID Season 2 Week 3 has come to an end, ION Esports is now the current leader of the global leaderboard. Auro and teammates are top of the ranks with 411 points.
MORPH’s brilliant performance has led them to second place with 370 points. BOOM Esports is in third place with a total of 364 points. Bigetron RA had to drop to 4th with 352 points.
