6. Natsuyuki Rendezvous

Follows Ryousuke Hazuki, a young man whose heart has been stolen away after visiting the flower shop to see the beautiful Rokka Shimao. Hoping to get close to her, he decides to work part-time at the shop. Before he’s able to make his move, he gets himself in a situation -- there’s a ghost in her apartment who claims to be Rokka’s late husband.

4. Nodame Cantabile

Nodame Cantabile is a music anime series with a funny and engaging love story. It follows Megumi Noda, who refers to herself as Nodame, a highly talented pianist. She plays piano by ear instead of reading the musical scores.

Shinichi Chiaki, a student on the same campus as her who also has a high talent in music. Chiaki runs into Nodame. Thanks to Chiaki, Nodame gets the opportunity to take part in a piano competition and starts to have a greater appreciation for music.

3. Sakamichi no Apollon

Sakamichi no Apollon tells the story of Kaoru who just got transferred from Yokosuka to Kyushu. One day, Kaoru runs into Sentarou and Ritsuko on the school roof. After the encounter, Kaoru meets Sentarou once again at the music shop and finds out that Sentarou plays the drums and in love with jazz music.

Soon, Sentarou and Ritsuko invite Kaoru to play music together to help Kaoru out of his boring mundane life.

Tells the story of Chihaya Ayase, a tomboyish determined girl, who grows up under the shadow of her older sister. With no particular dream, she’s content with her life until she meets Arata Wataya, the quiet transfer student in her class who introduces her to competitive karuta.

Chihaya immediately falls in love with karuta. Along with Arata and his arrogant yet hard-working friend, Taichi, she joins the local Shiranami. The three of them spend their childhood playing together until circumstances split them up.
