Genshin Impact Childe or Tartaglia, is one of the top Fatui members and is the number 11 of the Eleven Harbingers.

His gameplay and combat style is different from other characters. Childe uses a bow as his main weapon and engages in a long-range battle. After activating his Elemental Skill, Childe attack with two Hydro daggers and dishes melee attacks.

If you pull Childe from the gacha but unsure of how to build him, you are in luck because today the writer will share the recommended Childe build, from his weapon to artifact.

Weapon

In essence, Childe’s power source is his Normal Attack and Elemental Skill. So, the Writer picks the weapon that will support both aspects.

Most Recommended:

Rust (4✰): Increases Normal Attack DMG by 40% but decreases Aimed Shot DMG by 10%. With this weapon, Childe’s Normal Attack will increase - including his Normal Attack in the Melee Stance (Elemental Skill).

The Stringless (4✰): Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%. Childe can dish out tremendous damage with his Elemental burst so the status effect of this weapon will greatly impact his attacks.

Other Option

Skyward Harp (5✰): Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.

Compound Bow (4✰) - F2P: Normal Attack and Aimed Shot hits increase ATK by 4% and Normal ATK SPD by 1.2% for 6s. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s.

Artifact

Like other DPS, Childe needs Artifact with this status:

• Timepiece: ATK % ;
• Goblet: Hydro DMG Bonus ;
• Crown: Crit Dmg/Rate %.

The best substats for each Artifact is Crit rate %, Crit dmg %, ATK % dan ATK.

Most Recommended:

Wanderer’s Troupe Set:

• 2 set: Elemental Mastery +80;
• 4 set: Increases Charged Attack DMG by 35% if the character uses a Catalyst or Bow.

Equip four of them to activate the Set Activation. Your focus with this Artifact is the Charge Attack during the Melee Stance.

Noblesse Oblige Set:

• 2 set: Elemental Burst damage +20%;
• 4 set: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members' ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

With this mode, Childe will rely on his Elemental Burst during the Melee Stance. Combined with The Stringless, he can deal bigger damage with his Elemental Burst.
