Genshin Impact update 1.1 brings 4 new characters and one of them is Diona. Diona is an adorable character like Qiqi and Klee that uses Bow with Cryo elemental.

The girl fits the Support role. Diona’s Elemental Skill deals Cryo damage and grants protection from incoming attacks. Her Elemental Burst inflicts AoE Cryo damage that heal allies and damages opponents.

Recommended Weapon

Diona shines when you use her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst then changes into another character. That’s why you need to equip here with weapons that supports her for this role:

Sacrificial Bow (4✰): After dealing damage to an enemy with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 30s.

Favonius Warbow (4✰): CRIT hits have a 60% chance to generate 1 Elemental Orb, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12s.

The Stringless (4✰): Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%.

Raven Bow (3✰) - Early Game: Increases DMG against enemies affected by Hydro or Pyro by 12%.

Recommended Artifact

Since Diona is a Support character, her main focus is to grant a buff to help other characters in your team. So get Artifact with status such as:

• Flower: HP;
• Plume: ATK;
• Timepiece: Elemental Mastery;
• Goblet: Elemental Mastery;
• Circlet: Healing Bonus.

For the substats you can focus on getting HP%, HP, Elemental Mastery, and Energy Recharge.

Noblesse Oblige Set:

• 2 set: Elemental Burst damage +20%;
• 4 set: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members' ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

With 4 Noblesse Oblige  4 Set activated, Diona’s Elemental Burst increases the ATK stat of your DPS and heal them while inflicting Cryo status.

Retracing Bolide Set + Maiden Beloved Set:

• 2 set: Increases the effectiveness of shields by 35%

• 2 set: Character Healing Effectiveness +15%

If you are using this set, then Diona’s main focus is for defense. Her shield will last longer and the healing effect from her Elemental Burst is stronger.

Other Alternatives

Instructor Set:

• 2 set: Elemental Mastery +80;
• 4 set: Upon triggering an Elemental Reaction, increases all party members' Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8s.

The Exile Set:

• 2 set: Energy Recharge +20%;
• 4 set: Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 2 Energy for all party members (excluding the wearer) every 2s for 6s. This effect cannot stack.

Scholar Set:

• 2 set: Energy Recharge +20%;
• 4 set: Gaining Energy gives 3 Energy to all party members who have a bow or a catalyst equipped. Can only occurs once every 3s.
