Vaanstrong’s response to his former team’s failure to qualify for the MPL ID S15 playoffs has sparked interest. Now known as Ivann, the roamer has been enjoying a remarkable season in Malaysia.

Since joining HomeBois, Vaanstrong has delivered consistently strong performances. At one point, he has even helped the team secure a winstreak that has qualified them early for the playoffs alongside Selangor Red Giants, ahead of most other teams.

Alongside Veldora, another former EVOS player, Vaanstrong has found a more rewarding and enjoyable experience with HomeBois than he ever has had with EVOS.

Meanwhile, EVOS—despite fielding a star-studded roster including Albert and Kyyhas struggled throughout the season. Their playoff hopes have been crushed by Week 8, marking another disappointing campaign.

Despite early praise for their supposedly stacked lineup, EVOS has failed to meet expectations. Vaanstrong has shared his thoughts during a livestream following the official confirmation of EVOS' elimination.

Vaanstrong’s Honest Reaction to EVOS’ Downfall

Many fans have assumed that Vaanstrong has taken satisfaction in EVOS’ failure, especially after being let go by the organization. But the truth has been quite the opposite.

The man who has earned the nickname El Professionale has expressed sadness about his former team's fate. Despite being replaced at what many considered the peak of his form, Ivann has shown maturity and empathy.

"How do I feel about EVOS not making the playoffs? As a former EVOS player who’s now in Malaysia, I’m speechless. I don’t even know what to say," Vaanstrong has said during his stream.

"I’m not exactly sad, but it’s more like I’m frustrated. They lost because of their own mistakes," he has added.

EVOS’ current state has raised plenty of eyebrows. Releasing Ivann—only to replace him with Kyy, while he has been performing at his best—has looked like a costly decision in hindsight.

Whether the team’s management has regretted that move remains unknown. But Vaanstrong’s words have reminded many fans that professionalism doesn’t always come with resentment.

Now, while EVOS has been left to reflect on another lost season, Ivann has continued to thrive and prove his worth elsewhere. Perhaps letting him go has been a mistake EVOS will eventually come to acknowledge.
