Revicii became the talking point when EVOS Legends was announcing the team’s roster for the MPL ID Season 8. Aside from that, he wasn’t included in the EVOS Icon’s roster for the MDL Season 4. Thus, esports enthusiasts in Indonesia have been asking about his participation this year in the esports scene.

According to Revival.ID, Four, the coach of EVOS Icon, mentioned that Revicii actually passed the trial for the MPL roster. However, he lost the vote to Falah 'Rhapsody'.

"Revicii passed (the trial) for the MPL, yet we had to vote between Revicii and Falah (Rhapsody), and Falah won the vote for the MPL," said Four.

Despite the doubts surrounding his participation earlier this season, Revicii is making a comeback with a new name, "CH4KIM". However, due to the MPL regulations, Revicii has to play for EVOS Icon before he can join EVOS Legends.
