Fast and Stable Performance
The Zephyrus G14 (GA403) is a gaming laptop, which means it must have fast enough performance to play all the AAA games available on the current PC platform. Based on the specifications, the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) can certainly meet these requirements. But the next question is whether the performance is stable enough to play games for a long time? The short answer is yes.
The following are the test results using 3DMark Stress Test in Speed Way mode which was repeated 50 times. From the graph below, it can be seen that the operational temperature of the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) is still very well maintained, namely an average of 71⁰ C for the CPU and 82⁰ C for the GPU. One of the stable performances produced by the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) is thanks to the use of Tri-Fan Technology in the cooling system. This technology utilizes three fans to cool various main components in the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) so that the temperature can be maintained and performance remains stable.
How about the gaming performance? Of course it stays tight. When tested using three AAA games, namely Shadow of The Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk 2077, and Horizon: Zero Dawn at FHD+ resolution (1920×1200), the highest graphic settings, and without the help of DLSS or FSR, the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) is equipped with a processor. AMD Ryzen™ 9 8945HS, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, and 16GB memory, can produce quite high framerates.
The same thing is also reflected in tests using the 3Dmark graphics benchmark application. From this test, it can be seen that the resulting score is very good for a laptop with a super compact size such as the Zephyrus G14 (GA403).
What's interesting is that the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) comes with an NVIDIA Studio Driver, not a Game Ready Driver. This means that ASUS really wants to target creative workers who need a laptop that is super compact but still powerful in all aspects through the Zephyrus G14 (GA403) this time.
