1. Cenayang: Topics, Questions, and Answers

Abbreviated as Cenayang, the main point of the game is making you act like a “witch” who can guess hidden facts from the players. If the question answered right, you will get a point, if it doesn’t, you won’t lose anything. The player who collected 10 points will come out as the victor.

Cenayang can be played for 3 to 6 people and runs for 30 to 40 minutes per game, and the age minimum to play this game is 14 years old.

The main components in Cenayang are Character Cards, Event Cards, Question Cards + Tokens, Target Cards, Topic Cards, and Coins. At the start of the game, you have to choose a character randomly, Question Card + Token, Target Cards, and Topic Cards. Later when your turn comes (or active player), you have to pick one Event Card.

The game flow of Cenayang is divided into 6 phases they are:

• Event Phase: active player take one Event Card and read it. Event Card has a certain order to follow;
• Assuming Phase: active player says one Cenayang sentence. That sentence must contain the word from Topic Card;
• Guessing Phase: all players guessing on the Question Card, how many players who will agree to the Cenayang sentence that is said before;
• Betting Phase: players can reveal the point on Question Card as a proof of certainty. If the guess is correct, they will get an additional one coin. If they’re wrong, they lose one coin;
• Answering Phase: every player must answer the Cenayang sentence honestly! If it’s a yes, raise your thumb. If it’s not, don’t raise it;
• Distribution Phase: For players with the correct answer, they will get one point. For players with the wrong answer, they won’t get any points. The coin distributed will vary depending on the choice during the Betting Phase;

2. Choosing Words Creatively

This board game trains you to create words according to the topic at hand. At that time, you can compose a sentence that will reveal the hidden truth from your crush. So, be creative to get your crush’s secrets!
