Nowadays, many people prefer playing games using mobile devices; like the iPhone and Android devices. But maybe there are some gamers who feel uncomfortable playing games on the smartphone screen. Stains everywhere or lack of screen sensitivity can be a reason why some gamers prefer to buy a GamePad.

There are many types of gamepad on the market today, but not all have very satisfying qualities. Well, answering these complaints, GameSir finally made a good quality of gamepad but still affordable, this device is called GameSir G6s. This Gamepad is another version of GameSir G6, the difference is that G6s has a dual motor vibration.

Fortunately, the author got the chance to try the GameSir G6s product firsthand. What is the product like, is this one of the flagship products from this Chinese company really has a good quality? Let’s check out the following review.

Unboxing

When you purchased GameSir G6s, you will find several items; including a GameSir G6s gamepad, a warranty card with thank you card, and a type-B micro USB cable. It happens that the product that the author get is black, so it won’t get dirty quickly, though it's often used.

Design

Overall, GameSir G6s is made of plastic material with a fairly good finishing. It has an ergonomic design that fits in all sizes of hands. On the joystick, there is a blue metallic layer that makes it look cooler. This layer differentiates C6s from the G6 version.

The GameSir G6s has 10 buttons that are very clicky and responsive. These buttons include; buttons L1, L2, R1, A, B, X, Y, X, C, and the analog part can be pressed. At the back, there are two pads made of rubber on the left and right. These rubber pads make GameSir G6s won’t slip when being used.

On the right side, there are two grips covered with rubber so they do not damage your smartphone when installed. Interestingly, these two grips are small so that gamers can easily plug in the cable and headphones on the smartphone.

Features

GameSir G6s has some interesting features that the previous GameSir G6 did not have. This Gamepad has a dual motor vibration feature that can provide vibration when playing games. This vibration is also quite similar to the console controller vibration. Interestingly, this vibration can also be customized starting from the intensity and also the duration of vibration by using the GameSir G-Crux application.

GameSir G6s also supports Bluetooth 5.0 connection which provides low latency stability and high sensitivity. GameSir G6s also has an exclusive feature called GameSir G-Touch, where this feature provides a sense of security for gamers who use this gamepad from the ban when playing popular mobile games; such as PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, Rules of Survival, Mobile Legends, Identity V, Brawl Stars, Minecraft, Extraordinary Ones, LifeAfter, Honkai Impact 3rd, Arena of Valor, Zombs Royale, and Hole.io.

Connectivity on Android and iPhone

GameSir G6s  is a gamepad that fully supports the iOS smartphone devices. But it does not close the possibility that this gamepad can also be used on Android smartphones. When using on an iOS device, GameSir G6s can easily be connected with Bluetooth 5.0, moreover the support of the G-Crux application also makes it easier to use this gamepad; from mapping for each button, to setting the vibration.

As for the use on Android smartphone, the author was confused because the G-Crux application did not run well, even though it was connected to GameSir G6s. There are some fairly complicated steps that must be done before GameSir G6s can be used properly like it does on iPhone device.

To connect GameSir G6s to Android devices, you can follow the how-to on several YouTube channels.

Battery

Just like Gamesir G6, GameSir G6s also has a battery capacity of 3mAh. A very small number, but with this small number, Gamesir G6s is claimed to be able to last for 80 hours. The author tries to play a few games with GameSir G6s, the results are quite good and the battery can last for hours.

Conclusion

When trying GameSir G6s for two weeks, the author did not found major flaws when using it. To connect this gamepad to the iPhone is also very easy just by pressing the power button and it will be connected automatically.

The design and material of GameSir 66s is quite good in its class. The grip on this gamepad can cover all sizes of hands, including the size of small children’s hands. The dual motor vibration feature also gives a similar sensation to the console controller. Mapping settings for each button is also very easy to use using the G-Crux application.

Unfortunately, to be able to use GameSir G6s on Android smartphones is not as easy as like on iPhone. There are even some Android smartphones that cannot be connected with this gamepad. To connect GameSir G6s on Android requires an extra effort to be able to give the same experience as the iPhone.

So if you are an iPhone user and like to play PUBG Mobile, GameSir G6s is a gamepad that is perfect for you to have. The author does not recommend buying if you are still using an Android device, although there are still ways to connect it.

GameSir G6s are currently priced at around Rp575,000. How is it? Are you interested in buying this cool gamepad? Stay tuned at DuniaGames.co.id for more interesting information about other games.
