Unboxing 

The unboxing experience of realme C55 NFC is not much different from the previous C series. Where is the color of the box for this gaming cellphone coming back in yellow with the words "C55" which are large and followed by the words "realme" at the bottom. Apart from that, the way to open the box was also raised again.

Inside the box there are several items, including a C55 NFC unit, a manual and warranty book, a 33 Watt adapter, and a USB Type-C data cable. The fun part is that the screen of this smartphone is also anti-scratch installed, so there is no need to buy additional anti-scratch. What's more, realme Indonesia also provides a free case in it.

Stylish Sunshower Design

The unit that the author reviewed is named Sunshower. Where realme continues to look for inspiration from nature, get inspiration from natural elements that make this smartphone more dynamic and imaginative. realme Indonesia explains that on the back of the realme C55 NFC there are as many as 500,000 light particles forming vertical microscopy lines, like streaks of rain, combined with stunning colors like sunlight which give very cool reflections when exposed to light.

Apart from the Sunshower color, realme C55 NFC also has a Rainy Night color which is suitable for those who like dark colors. The rear body material for realme C55 NFC Sunshower has a matte finish that does not leave fingerprint marks when held. As a result, this smartphone also doesn't feel slippery in the hands, even when the hands are sweaty or wet. As for the color choice Rainy Night actually comes with a glossy coating.

Still on the back, you can clearly see two large camera bumps inside a glossy frame along with a flash. This also shows that realme C55 NFC excels in photography.

The entire body of realme C55 NFC uses plastic material, while the side, top and bottom frames are made of sturdy aluminum. The placement of the volume and power buttons on the right side together with the power button which is also a fingerprint sensor. This makes it reach just right to be pressed using the thumb. After seeing the design of realme C55 NFC, we will now discuss the quality of the screen. realme C55 NFC has a screen size of 6.72 inches with FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4%. Do not forget that the realme C55 NFC screen also supports a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz, making the responsiveness of the realme C55 NFC screen very smooth and comfortable. realme C55 NFC comes with a configuration of two rear cameras accompanied by an elongated LED flash that looks like the eyes and mouth. realme C55 NFC is the first smartphone from the C Series that provides Street Photography mode, which is embedded in the GT and Number Series. 

With Dynamic Image Snapshot (DIS), you can take clear photos in unstable situations. DIS technology effectively enhances your photography experience. There are several other innovative filters on the C55 NFC realm, including:

• B&W Plus Filter: Enhances the expression of light and shadow
• Dramatic Filter: Provides more emotional expression with more intense detail on subjects
• 90s Pop Filter: Shows vintage film style.

• Starry Mode: Making sure the stars are captured on the screen, all you need to do is activate the "Starry Mode" in Night Mode, press the shutter button and wait for a while to get a beautiful starry image. 

After taking several photo objects, the main camera of realme C55 NFC is capable of reproducing colors that are quite accurate so that they look very Instagram-able. For the front camera, realme C55 NFC has one front camera with a resolution of 8 MP f/2.0. Again, the front camera of this smartphone is good enough for various shooting conditions.

The camera of realme C55 NFC is also quite reliable for video recording. Because this smartphone is capable of recording video up to a maximum of 1080p 30fps or 60 fps. But unfortunately, Realme has not embedded a software-based stabilization feature or EIS  on realme C55 NFC .

Great Gaming Performance

The Helio G88 processor is indeed a relatively new processor, but with the letter "G" on the front, the processor in the C55 NFC realm is certainly superior for playing games. Moreover, this processor is also combined with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM! So it feels enough for playing popular mobile games.

After testing it in several uses, the performance of the Helio G88 processor in the C55 NFC realm turned out to be very capable of running various Android games, such as PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends, and even Genshin Impact!

In Mobile Legends, the author gets High graphic settings and also High refresh rates. As a result, with these graphic settings the author did not find any problems. Even when there was war, the writer didn't feel that there was a drop in frame-rates.

For PUBG Mobile, the author gets HD graphics settings with high framerates. For Smooth graphics settings, the author gets the Ultra frame-rate. With these settings, again, the writer did not feel any disturbances during the game on the C55 NFC realm.

For Modern Warship, the author gets Ultra graphics settings, Ultra Water Quality and Target FPS up to 90 fps. With these settings, usually there are several MediaTek G series processors that are still not capable of running graphics processing smoothly. But for the C55 NFC realm, the writer didn't feel any interference during the game.

Next is Genshin Impact, where realme C55 NFC can run Hoyoverse's game with the "Lowest" graphic setting so that it can be played stably. If you raise it to the "Low" setting, it can be played but you will feel a drop in frame-rates and a little lag when fighting.

Even when the author ran the PPSSPP emulator on realme C55 NFC, one of the popular PSP games, namely God of War: Ghost of Sparta, ran quite smoothly with the Rendering Resolution setting of 2x PSP
