Check out Bigetron Sons' journey to the M5 World Championship to prove their first debut in the international MLBB tournament.

This fifth M-Series indeed presents lots of new faces. One of them comes from Brazil, namely BTR Sons.

This is the first international tournament in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports scheme. Their journey to the M5 was certainly full of struggle and sacrifice.

BTR Sons' Journey Towards M5

Their struggle to get the M5 slot is certainly not easy. They have even been fighting since MPL Brazil Season 5 started.

In the fifth season of MPL Brazil itself, BTR Sons did not really dominate the standings. The reason is, they lost to RRQ Akira and Malvinas Brazil during the regular season. Even so, they managed to rank third on the MPL Brazil S5 regular season standings with five wins and two losses.

This result also made them qualify for the Playoffs. In the Playoff round itself, the Red Robot Team from Brazil beat Randoms Esports and qualified for the Upper Bracket Semi-Final. Unfortunately, in that round, they had to meet RRQ Akira and lost. This also forced them to move down to the Lower Bracket.

In the Lower Bracket, BTR Sons actually dominated the game. They managed to beat Malvinas Brazil and DreamMax, and finally got a slot for the Grand Final.

In the Grand Final, the Brazilian branch of the Bigetron team met RRQ Akira again. But unfortunately, until that moment, they had not found a way to defeat Akira. They also had to admit the greatness of RRQ Akira with a score of 1-4. Making them get the runner-up position in MPL Brazil Season 5, as well as a slot for the 2023 Latam League.

In the 2023 Latam League, BTR Sons will again have to fight to get a slot for the M5 World Championship. But unfortunately, their first match didn't go smoothly so they had to go down to the Lower Bracket again.

Even so, this did not dampen their enthusiasm to fight again. They again slaughtered the teams present in the Lower Bracket, until they finally qualified for the Grand Final.

But unfortunately, once again, they had to meet RRQ Akira. Almost different from the MPL Brazil S5 Grand Final, BTR Sons had to lose with a score of 0-4 without reply to RRQ Akira in the 2023 Latam League.

They also had to return to the runner-up position in the tournament. Even so, they still got a slot for the M5 World Championship together with RRQ Akira.

Their success in getting a slot for M5 was of course thanks to the struggle of the roster. The roster list revealed for the fifth M-Series is as follows.

Advantages of Bigetron Sons in M5

Bigetron Sons, a Brazilian team, certainly has its own gameplay when playing in the Land of Dawn. This can also have a surprising effect on other teams, who may have never met them in the Land of Dawn.

A capable roster is also an advantage in this team. The reason is, that all the players, down to the coach, come from the same country, namely Brazil. So, this makes it easier for teams to build chemistry and communication when competing.

Disadvantages of BTR Sons in M5

Their games at MPL Brazil S5 and 2023 Latam League were broadcast live on several platforms. So, this could be a clue for other teams to see the strength of BTR Sons in the Land of Dawn. As a result, like it or not, the Red Robot team from Brazil had to increase their competitive strategies.

The Philippine venue also has an influence on the roster's performance. The reason is, that the location used is different from the country of birth. So, adaptation is needed so that the roster does not experience illness.

Not only that, as previously mentioned, this was his first debut in an international tournament. Of course, there is a feeling of nervousness when attending a big event like this. If these feelings cannot be controlled, it can affect their performance when competing.

Predictions of Bigetron Sons in M5 World Championship

Unfortunately, the Red Robot team from Brazil has to be in the same group as ONIC Esports, See You Soon, and Triple Esports. These three teams can certainly provide a big challenge for them to steal points.

Even so, they seem to have a big chance to steal points when facing Triple Esports. However, the possibility will be very small to steal points from ONIC Esports and See You Soon. So, there is a possibility that they can only survive in the Group stage. There is a very small possibility of being able to advance to the top 2 of the group standings in order to qualify for the Playoff round.
