Nippon Ichi Software or NIS developed their latest RPG entitled Xicatrice. The developer has announced several things from this game such as characters, story, gameplay, and screenshots. Xicatrice will be released on June 29, 2023, for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.

In this game, you will play as a teacher in a Japanese high school where supernatural powers exist. The teacher you play also acts as the leader of the 302nd troop from RAUT (Reserve Anti-abnormal Unusual-talent Team). He is in charge of leading the other 7 protagonists to eliminate the disturbing evil energy.

The main character is a former police officer who has lost his powers. The story begins when the main character becomes the teacher of students who have superpowers. Xicatrice is a turn-based RPG with life simulation elements. You can arrange activities for the students to do and also form a close relationship with them.
