The VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 champion has been decided with the end of the grand finals between RRQ vs Gen.G at Sangam SOOP Colosseum, Seoul, Sunday (11/5). The match ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of RRQ.

RRQ are VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 Champions

Haven opened the battle for the VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 title this time around. Convincingly, they locked Gen.G's map of choice through neat play by Karon cs, with a final score of 13-8.

Not wanting to give up tournament points just like that to Gen.G, Jemkin cs created comeback momentum with 10-2 dominance in the Ascent half round. Gen.G had caught up to 11 points, but RRQ would not let up and equalized to 1-1.

Continuing to Lotus, where RRQ was previously defeated easily by Gen.G. This is where RRQ proved their hope for the championship, with minimal mistakes, RRQ locked tournament points with a score of 13-9 from Gen.G.

Icebox witnessed RRQ winning the VCT Pacific this season. Unexpectedly, RRQ was able to rise above their deficit. Although Gen.G was leading with a score of 10-8, RRQ turned things around and came out as champions with a final score of 13-11.

That way, RRQ managed to become the first Indonesian team to lift the title of VCT Pacific champion. Not only that, RRQ also secured 9 total Circuit Points for the 2025 Valorant Champions.

Previously, RRQ was confirmed to qualify for VCT Masters Toronto 2025. In addition, they will also compete in EWC 2025: Valorant. The slot was secured by RRQ after they established themselves in the VCT Pacific Stage 1 grand finals with Gen.G. 

For information, EWC 2025: Valorant will be held in July 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. RRQ will face off against 15 other teams for a total prize pool of $1,250,000 USD.
