The Valorant Champions 2025 Paris competition reached the Decider Match stage on Monday, September 22, 2025, where several teams will face their final matches to determine who will advance to the playoffs. Previously, we witnessed various exciting matches throughout the Valorant Champions 2025 Group Stage, filled with excitement and surprising results.
The final Decider match pitted two teams: Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) against MIBR. As we know, MIBR lost to FNATIC last time, while RRQ, despite being defeated by FNATIC, managed to defeat BiliBili Gaming (BLG). This match was a life-or-death match for both teams. If RRQ lost to MIBR, the King's journey would end. Conversely, if RRQ won against MIBR, the King would advance to the playoffs.
RRQ Loses to MIBR, Second Pacific Team Exits Valorant Champions 2025
The match between RRQ and MIBR will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, with both teams playing in a best-of-three (BO3) format. The two teams will play on the following maps: Corrode (selected by RRQ), Abyss (selected by MIBR), and Haven, the deciding map. Once again, if RRQ loses to MIBR, their journey at Valorant Champions 2025 will be over.
In Game 1, Corrode, RRQ lost the first pistol round after Aspas's three kills put RRQ on the back foot. Having fallen behind by several points, RRQ tried to close the gap on MIBR. RRQ began to feel the pinch, not only Aspas but also other MIBR players like Artzin, Verno, Cortezia, and Xenom also made significant contributions to MIBR. Ultimately, the first half ended in MIBR's favor with a score of 9-3.
MIBR once again dominated the second half and easily secured match point. In the deciding round, MIBR displayed a brilliant performance from Artzin with his Odin. RRQ's remaining two players were Crazyguy and Xffero. Crazyguy defeated Verno, but Xenom captured the final two RRQ players, sealing their 13-5 victory on Corrode.
Down by one point, entering game 2, RRQ's Abyss tried to fight back. However, MIBR repeatedly secured their first pistol round. Again in game 2, Aspas proved key to MIBR's strength. RRQ tried several times to force setups into the B site, but although they successfully placed the Spike, MIBR repeatedly managed to disable all RRQ players and retake. RRQ was in a truly difficult position.
The first half ended with a score of 8-4 in MIBR's favor. RRQ was once again rendered helpless, losing again and again to MIBR. Match point was secured without a hitch. In the decisive round for MIBR, Artzin was taken down. MIBR successfully penetrated B Site and placed a Spike. RRQ managed to temporarily increase their points tally.
The next round proved decisive for MIBR. Crazyguy was taken down early by Artzin. RRQ tried to re-secure B Site, but Jemkin was taken down by Cartezia. Verno managed to take down Xffero, further increasing RRQ's chances of defeating MIBR. Only two players remained: Monkey and Kushy. Cortezia secured Monkey, and Aspas secured the final kill, sealing their 2-0 victory over RRQ.
RRQ lost to MIBR on Abyss with a score of 5-13, signaling the end of the King of Kings' journey at Valorant Champions 2025. This was certainly not the result many had hoped for. However, thank you, RRQ, for your hard work representing Indonesia at Valorant Champions 2025.
