Team RRQ Valorant finally managed to prove themselves at the VCT Pacific event in their third year of participating in the event. RRQ qualified for the VCT Pacific grand finals for the first time in stage 1 of the 2025 season.

RRQ Valorant Qualifies for VCT Pacific Grand Finals

Team RRQ gave good news to Indonesian Valorant fans by becoming the first Indonesian representative team to qualify for the VCT Pacific grand finals. They got the result after defeating Paper Rex in the lower bracket final.

In the best of (BO) 5 match, RRQ won over PRX with a final score of 3-2. Having fallen behind PRX in the Fracture map, RRQ then responded in Split and Pearl through a fierce final score. PRX, who didn't want to give up so easily, equalized by winning Icebox.

The match had to be closed on Ascent. RRQ who immediately took the lead in the half round with a score of 9-3, closed the chance for PRX to reply with a 1v2 clutch win by Xffero.

Next, RRQ will face Gen.G again in the VCT Pacific grand finals on Sunday (11/5), to determine which team will win VCT Pacific stage 1.

RRQ Qualifies for EWC 2025

In addition to being confirmed to qualify for VCT Masters Toronto 2025, RRQ will also compete in EWC 2025: Valorant. The slot was secured by RRQ after they established themselves in the VCT Pacific Stage 1 grand finals with Gen.G. 

For information, EWC 2025: Valorant will be held in July 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. RRQ will face off against 15 other teams for a total prize pool of $1,250,000 USD.
