Donquixote Doflamingo is the main antagonist in the Dressrosa arc that Luffy and his friends faced with Trafalgar Law and several other pirates who eventually became the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Speaking of Doflamingo, there was one food he really hated due to his past trauma. What is this food?

In the SBS One Piece volume 82 column, a reader asked Oda about Doflamingo's likes and dislikes. Oda answered that his favorite food is lobster, while the food he hates is barbecue.

There was a certain reason why Doflamingo hated barbeques so much. According to Oda it reminded him of trauma in the past. Oda did not explain it in detail, but it seems that it is related to the incident when Doflamingo, Rosinante (Corazon), and their father were judged by the locals because they were Tenryuubito who were always considered arbitrary by ordinary people.

Although Doflamingo himself is a Tenryuubito, it seems that he really hates the other Tenryuubito for making his life miserable. That was one of the reasons why Doflamingo threatened the World Government to reveal the secrets of the national treasure in Mary Geoise if they didn't comply.
