SBS One Piece: Gura Gura no Mi; Paramecia or Logia? Here's Oda's Answer!
What kind of a Devil Fruit is the Gura Gura no Mi? Here’s Oda’s answer in one of the SBS columns!
Anime & Manga | 23 July
The Gura Gura no Mi is the Devil Fruit eaten by Edward Newgate or Shirohige before it was stolen by Teach. Both the anime and the manga have never covered the type of this Devil Fruit. Surely this makes some One Piece fans curious.
In a column of SBS One Piece Volume 58, a fan asked, “Hello, Oda-sensei, I have a question. Is Shirohige, Edward Newgate, a user of Logia or Paramecia? I personally think he’s a Logia user since he took Aokiji’s attack without turning to ice, but…?”
Oda then replied, “I guess that’s difficult. The answer is Paramecia. “Gura Gura no Mi” is said to be the most powerful of the many Paramecia Devil Fruit. It’s easy to think that he’s a “Tremor Human”. Thus, he must be Logia. But Shirohige creates earthquakes, in other words, he’s a “Vibration Human”. That means he’s a Paramecia user who isn’t any weaker than the Logia users”.
That’s what Oda had to say about the type of the Gura Gura no Mi. Stick around for more info about anime and manga, and don’t forget to follow Dunia Games on Facebook and Instagram to keep you updated on the latest exciting news and articles.
