CP9 is a group that Luffy and his friends once faced in the Water Seven arc. They consist of Rob Lucci, Kaku, Jabura, Kalifa, Blueno, Kumadori, Fukuro, and Spadam as the leader. And some of them are owners of Zoan devil fruit abilities, which means they can change into animal form.

In the SBS One Piece volume 44 column, a curious fan asked Oda about the origin and age of the CP9 members. Oda also gave the answer that you can see below:

• Rob Lucci is 30 years old and comes from the Grand Line
• Kaku is 25 years old and comes from the East Blue
• Jabura is 37 years old and comes from the North Blue
• Kalifa is 27 years old and comes from the Grand Line
• Blueno is 32 years old who comes from the North Blue
• Kumadori is 36 years old and comes from the South Blue
• Fukuro is 31 years old and comes from the Grand Line
• Spandam is 41 years old and comes from the Grand Line
