The Forces of Nature trio are coming to Pokemon GO Tier 5 Raid Battles, and now, it’s Thundurus who makes an appearance with its Electric powers. Thundurus, the Bolt Strike Pokemon, is of the Electric and Flying-type. It takes, at the very least, 2 Trainers with a powerful lineup of Pokemon, or 5 Trainers with an average lineup to beat Thundurus.

Use Rock or Ice-type attacks to get the Super Effective Boost of 160% against Thundurus. Pokemon that work well to counter Thundurus include Rampardos, Galarian Darmanitan, Mamoswine, Rhyperior, Terrakion, and Tyranitar.

Aside from Electric-type attacks, Thundurus also has Brick Break (Fighting-type) as its alternative move. Be careful of this particular move as it will work effectively against your Rock and Ice-type Pokemon.

If you manage to beat Thundurus in Raid Battle, you’ll get the chance to capture it. During Rainy or Windy Weather Boost, Thundurus will have higher CP and Level (25). If you have great luck, you can even get the Shiny Incarnate Forme Thundurus!

After that, Therian Forme Thundurus will be the Raid Boss until the end of March! Therian Thundurus has higher Attack stats than its Incarnate Forme. So, be ready to withstand its attacks.
