We’re almost at the end of 2019. There are already tons of various anime shown on our screens. From all of the many anime that have been watched by you this year, which one do you like? Talking about anime, we must include in the discussion the actors and actresses behind the screen who give their voices, giving souls to the characters - commonly known as seiyuu.

Now, who’s your favorite seiyuu of this year? Dunia Games has compiled ten names that have been stealing anime fans’ attention throughout 2019. Let’s find out who they are.

10. Daisuke Ono

Seiyuu of Sebastian, the ridiculously handsome devil from the anime Black Butler, Daisuke Ono. Ono is very well known for his sexy voice when playing as a character. One of his roles in 2019 is Masamune Hongou in Ace of Diamond Act II.

9. Ai Fairouz

If you’re curious about her name, Ai Fairouz is an Egyptian-Japanese descent who was born in Tokyo, Japan. She debuted as a professional seiyuu in the anime Danberu Nan-Kiro Moteru?. Her unique voice expression made her instantly have many fans.

8. Kamiya Hiroshi

This seiyuu is known as the voice actor of Kyomi Araragi in the anime series, Monogatari. Hiroshi Kamiya has done a lot of voice works for many anime, and almost every of those anime is popular. For example, Levi (Attack on Titan), Akashi Seijuro (Kuroko’s Basketball), Trafalgar Law (One Piece), and many more.

7. Sora Amamiya

Called by her die-hard fans by Ten-chan, Sora Amamiya is a girl with multiple talents. Not only her voice works, but she’s also a good singer, thanks to her unique and cute voice. One of her roles in 2019 is as Akemi in Danberu Nan-Kiro Moteru?

6. Yuki Kaji

It’s fair to say that Yuuki Kaji is a seiyuu with lots of roles. There are a lot of main characters voiced by the seiyuu who was born in 1985. For example, Issei Hyoudou (High School DxD), Eren Yeager (Attack on Titan), Meliodas (Nanatsu no Taizai), and many more.

5. Miku Ittou

This beautiful girl turned out to love tokusatsu, especially Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series. Miku is a member of the vocal group StylipS. The anime characters she voiced over are Nanako Usami (Locodol) and Tsurumaki Kokoro (Bang Dream!)

4. Kazuya Nakai

The male Seiyuu is the winner of the 5th Seiyuu Awards in Best Supporting Actor category in his role in the anime One Piece and Gintama. That’s right, he’s the voice of Zoro Roronoa and Hijikata Toushiro.

3. Rie Takahashi

Aside from being known as Megumin (KonoSuba), Emilia (Re:Zero), and Mash Kyrielight (Fate/Grand Order); in 2019 this female seiyuu who was born on February 27, 1994, voiced for Takagi-san (Karakai Jyouzu no Takagi-san S2) dan Rin Azuma (Isekai Cheat Magician).

2. Hikaru Midorikawa

Hikaru has traveled around the Japanese world of voice actors since 1989 and is still adored by fans to this day. Important characters that he voiced for are Heero Yui (Mobile Suit Gundam Wing), and Rukawa (Slam Dunk). 

1. Tomori Kusunoki

Tomori Kusunoki is rather a ‘new kid’ in the world of seiyuu. She got her debut in 2017 as an extra. However, her name skyrocketed in 2018 after she played several main characters such as LLENN in (SAO Alternative Gun Gale Online).
