9. Ironsight

Just March 2020 last year, this FPS that has a gameplay similar to COD 4: Modern Warfare added a “not-so-battle royale” mode compared to other titles on this list: a 6v6 Team Battle Royal. This mode More or less combines the classic Team Deathmatch with battle royale elements. 5. Scavengers

Like Ironsight, Scavengers presents a battle royale concept that is slightly more unique than its competitors. Here PVP elements are mixed with PVE, so apart from dealing with other players you have to deal with monsters roaming the map. Your character is also equipped with various skills or ultimate. You could say it's similar to The Division's Dark Zone or Hunt: Showdown. When this article was written, Scavengers had 2,098 active players with the highest number reaching 16,787.

4. Totally Accurate Battlegrounds

Cuisine Royale may be gone, but fortunately you can still grab Totally Accurate Battlegrounds if you are looking for a free-to-play battle royale game with a sense of humor. Having minimal graphics and a maximum physics engine, this game pits 60 players and provides more than 90 types of weapons in its maps. Squad, duo, and solo modes are also available. With the highest number of players reaching 29,438 people, in the last 24 hours 2,026 active players had played this title simultaneously.

3. Super Mecha Champions

If you are looking for a free-to-play battle royale game with anime visuals, there is Super Mecha Champions. As you can expect from the title (and much like Titanfall) in the middle of the game you can summon a giant robot to change the course of the battle. There are 1,822 active players and the highest number is 2,304 at the time of writing. This NetEase-released title has just been released for PC and Android in March, so I think it that’s why it’s still bustling with players. I suggest you to play it right now before the population decreases dramatically.

2. Ring of Elysium

The game that was heralded as PUBG's biggest rival back in 2018 is still quite active, it seems. 2,190 people have played it in the last 24 hours and the highest number of players has touched 63,435 active players. Unfortunately, Indonesian gamers will need a VPN to install Ring of Elysium because the Steam version is blocked and not available on the Garena launcher either.

1. Apex Legends

And in the first place, not surprisingly, is the free-to-play battle royale from Respawn and EA, Apex Legends. The Titanfall spinoff garnered the attention of 387,505 active players just yesterday.
