The anime series Kingdom has announced three additional cast members who will be joining the fifth season, which is based on Yasuhisa Hara's hugely popular manga. These three new characters are members of the Kan Ki Army, and they are ready to take this epic story to the next level.

The official air date for the fifth season of the Kingdom anime has been announced, January 6th 2024 at 24:00 JST on the NHK General channel. This is the news that Kingdom's loyal fans have been waiting for.

Kingdom is one of the long-awaited anime. The series first aired in 2012, and quickly gained a loyal following. The second season followed in 2013.

The third season of the Kingdom anime, which premiered in April 2020, had to face production challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Kingdom manga, first published in 2006 in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine, has captivated millions of readers with its epic tale of a slave named Xin who struggles to become a great general in the state of Qin.

With dreams of unifying China, Xin works alongside Ying Zheng, the viceroy of Qin. The manga has achieved tremendous success and still continues to this day, with a live action version being made as well.
