After Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), the most popular MOBA game in Indonesia, announced its collaboration with Iko Uwais, who plays Chou in the Winter Gala 2020 series, today, MLBB has announced another cast to play against Iko Uwais in the MLBB-produced short film titled “Winter Clash”.

Al Ghazali, the young talented actor who’s known for his characters in various movies and soap operas in Indonesia, was chosen to play Gusion, the iconic MLBB hero.

“At the end of this year, we’re collaborating with two Indonesian actors. Aside from Iko Uwais, we’re also collaborating with Al Ghazali, who will play Gusion in this movie. The selection of these actors was based on the survey that involved Indonesian players. We decided to collaborate with Indonesian actors to bring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang closer to Indonesian fans,” Aswin Atonie, the Brand Director of Moonton Indonesia, said.  

“Gusion is one of the player’s favorites and I play him a lot in MLBB. Having the opportunity to play as Gusion is an amazing experience”, Al Ghazali said. “Playing as Gusion, I want to give my best for MLBB fans in Indonesia.” 

Al Ghazali will play against Iko Uwais, who will play Chou in a short film directed by Timo Tjahjanto (Timobros). Here’s the teaser video:

The short film will be released on December 18, 2020. Many have been eagerly waiting for the collaboration between Iko Uwais and Al Ghazali in the first short film produced by Moonton, the developer of MLBB.
