Shanks

Since the second episode, it has been shown that little Luffy had met Shanks, who at that time was most likely already a yonkou. Here, Shanks risked his life to save Luffy from a sea monster. Shanks was able to help Luffy by paying for his left arm which was eaten by a sea monster.

Teach

In episode 147, Luffy meets Teach or Blackbeard, who at that time was still an ordinary pirate. At that time, the people in the bar laughed at Luffy who wanted to go to Sky Island. Only Teach didn't laugh at him because he believed in it.

The line Teach uttered at his first meeting with Luffy was, "A person's dream never ends". Surely this is related to those who are after One Piece. Who would have thought that now he has become a yonkou.

Kaido

In the last episode 914, finally Luffy met the yonkou with the highest bounty, Kaido. Kaido, who heard Luffy's name, was immediately triggered and attacked him with the deadly Bolo Breath technique. This is because Luffy has messed up Kaido's big project like the smile transaction.
