Recently, RRQ Kingdom has been beset by a sense of loss. The reason is, RRQ Liam has just announced his departure from the esports team RRQ Hoshi, after 4 years. Although he had taken a break for some time due to health problems, veteran Liam finally rejoined the RRQ Hoshi esports team in 2021.

The news of Liam's departure from the RRQ team for the Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang division was announced through a video uploaded on Team RRQ's YouTube channel. In a 10-minute video, Liam explains that leaving RRQ Hoshi was a decision he made on his own. Liam, William Setiawan, also expressed his gratitude to the entire RRQ team and fans.

"I thank them very much from the team, the RRQ manager, the RRQ team, the production team, and all of them they helped me. And they are good people, it was like my second family. Whenever there was anything they were always there," said Liam.

Liam also asked fans to respect the decision he has taken.

"This decision is what I want and not to disappoint you, I hope you can understand. Don't look at it from one side or the other. I know the e-sports community is good and the people are positive," he added.

After leaving RRQ, unfortunately it is not known for certain whether Liam really fully retired from esports or took a short break. But hopefully whatever decision Liam makes is the best decision.
