How to Unlocked Ranked Mode in Wild Rift
Unlike the Rank system in other mobile MOBA games, Wild Rift’s Rank system resembles League of Legends. The game uses Elo rating system, a numeric system instead of stars. Excitingly, the numbers that came out differs depending on how the player is performing. If you are playing great despite your loss, you can still record a positive Elo. So you are not at a total disadvantage because of your bad teammates.

Understanding Every Rank in Wild Rift
Despite Wild Rift still in closed beta, Riot already opens the Rank system. The developers felt that having the Rank system in closed beta works as an introduction for new players and also to test it ahead of the official release.
Take a lot at the list of Ranks in Wild Rift:
- Iron;
- Bronze;
- Silver;
- Gold;
- Platinum;
- Emerald;
- Diamond;
- Master;
- Grandmaster;
- Challenger.
PC League of Legends players are familiar with the ranks above. But Riot also adds a new tier between Platinum and Diamond to accurately distribute players based on their ability.
Rank Mark System in Wild Rift
Unlike other mobile MOBA, Wild Rift implements two separate Rank Mark system, for players in Iron to Emerald and for players in Diamond to Challenger.
Every player in Emerald Rank and below will get Marks every time they win a game and will lose their Mark upon losing.
In Rank Iron to Bronze, players are immune to losing their mark. Players in Rank Silver to Emerald will also lose their Mark upon losing.
Every tier got different Marks to level up, the lowest tier require the lowest Mark. take a look at the list of Mark needed in every Rank in Wild Rift.
- Iron (IV, III, II, I) – requires 2 Marks for each division to rank up;
- Bronze (IV, III, II, I) – requires 3 Marks for each division to rank up;
- Silver (IV, III, II, I) – requires 3 Marks for each division to rank up;
- Gold (IV, III, II, I) – requires 4 Marks for each division to rank up;
- Platinum (IV, III, II, I) – requires 4 Marks for each division to rank up;
- Emerald (IV, III, II, I) – requires 5 Marks for each division to rank up.
Victory Points in Wild Rift
The players in the Diamond Rank and above will see a rank that closely resembles the system in LoL PC. They have to collect Victory points (VP) that is similar to the League Points (LP) in LoL. The number of VP they lose or gain depends on many factors, such as their performance.
Rank Promotion in Wild Rift
Beginners will go through the rank promotion series to reach a higher rank quicker. It’s similar to the promotion in LoL, where players got three matches to decide whether they should rank up or stay.
- Iron–Bronze: 2 wins = success! 3 losses = failure;
- Silver–Diamond: 3 wins = success! 3 losses = failure;
- Master–Challenger: No promos required.
Players that win the promotion matches in Wild Rift will rank up and get benefits such as bonus Ranked Mark and Immunity to rank drop.
