Since he was released last December, Chrono has become the strongest character in the game, even surpassing DJ Alok. He is so strong, and many Survivors complained about Chrono's skill that damaging the game’s Meta. To make the game balanced, here are 7 nerfs that Garena should give to Chrono immediately!

1. Decreasing the Protective Field’s Damage

Chrono’s skill can create a protective field that can withstand up to 600 damage or approximately 3 times bigger than a player’s maximum HP. This amount is gigantic and it takes a while to destroy it.

If you want to nerf Chrono, Garena could consider reducing the damage to the armor from 600 to 400 damage or less.

2. Players Cannot Shoot While Inside the Protective Field

One of the most unsettling advantages of the Time Turner (Chrono’s character skill) is that players can still shoot from inside the barrier, making it too powerful in solo mode. Many Survivors think that it is better if this effect is removed to make it balance.

3. Reduce the Skill’s Duration

Chrono’s skill will last for 4 seconds at the first level and increase to 9 seconds at the maximum level. As a result, many players took advantage of Chrono's armor to awaken knocked teammates and using healing items.

Many Survivors complain about this due to how many bullets are wasted to destroy the protective field and the enemies come back again with full health. Have you experienced this kind of thing?

4. Decreasing Movement Speed

At the maximum level, Chrono’s skill also gives 30% bonus movement speed to yourself and 15% to teammates. This bonus is fairly high, even the highest among other Free Fire characters including Kelly, Joseph, and Alok.

It's better to reduce the movement speed bonus to 20% for yourself and 10% for team members. Do you agree with us?

5. Increasing Skill’s Cooldown Time

Both in the initial level and the maximum level, Chrono has a very short cooldown skill. At the maximum level, Chrono can create a barrier every 40 seconds.

If all squad members use Chrono, if one shield is up, then the others just only need to move to their friend's protective field. Not to mention the addition of the Rockie’s skill effect which reduces the cooldown of any active skills, so that you can spam Chrono's skills continuously!

To avoid getting too overpowered than he already is, it's better to increase the cooldown of Chrono's skill to 60 seconds or longer.

6. Limiting the Number of Players Who Can Enter the Protective Field

In squad mode, all team members can enter Chrono's protector. This allows one squad to do many things with a sense of security, such as helping friends who get knocked, exchanging weapons, Gloo Walls, to medkits. If given a nerf that limits only 2-3 people who can enter, maybe this skill will become more balanced.

7. Reducing the Protective Field’s Size

Maybe this nerf is not too significant when compared to the others, but by reducing the size of Chrono’s protective field, enemies will stand up against Chrono.

So that’s 7 nerfs that Garena must implement to Chrono to make him balanced in Free Fire. Which nerf is the most needed? Let us know in the comment section below!
