After winning the match against Dadang Subur, aka Dewa Kipas, Irene Sukandar had a duel with GothamChess. This time, they played a game of Blitz Chess, a Fischer Random Chess, or Chess 960. 

In case you haven’t heard of Chess 960, it’s a variant of shuffle chess with the starting position of the pieces is randomized -- vary for each round.

The match was intense, Irene Sukandar and Gothamchess both won playing as White. Gothamchess took the lead with 1-0 and 2-1, but Irene Sukandar managed to equalize the score and end the match 2-2.

The chess match immediately became the talking point for Indonesian netizens after Irene Sukandar had previously defeated Pak Dadang in a 3-0 victory.
